Name: Bennett Johnson
Age: 24
Race: Elf
Profession: Bennett doesn't have a set profession, but he's skilled in many trades. Mostly, he just wanders around helping people who ask.
Alignment: Arysia
Appearance: Short, windblown hair in a dark brown that matches his eyes and his half-sisters' eyes. His eyes are just as beautiful as a girl's eyes, but are set apart and made masculine by the wickedly sexual gleam that is always present. Soft lips and high cheekbone, matched with the scruffiness of one without a morning shave present him as handsome to every woman. A muscular back and arms is defined often through his clothing, and they do their part in charming the ladies. His hands are callous and rough, covered in scars from the many random jobs he's performed.
Personality: Lusty and quick to tease, he's gained a well-earned reputation of a ladies' man, but Bennett isn't all about women. He's a heavy dreamer and thinker, and he's never hasty to give out information. He's very private about his life, and extremely protective over his half-sister, Alice. He cares about many, many people, but because of his rough exterior, several individuals think him as callous as the hands he works with. He has always been easy to provoke into a fight, and Bennett's not the type of person who's afraid to bleed. Even though he can be a tough guy, he's always friendly to new and old friends, and ready to meet other people.
Weapons/Magic:
A long sword is strapped to his back at all times, and he keeps the blade shiny, clean, and sharp. He's quick to draw it when in need, and he's a skilled swordsman.
Like Alice, Bennett has a gift of magic. He can heal also, but as his magic hasn't been weakened by the blood of a dryad, his healings can be of more severe wounds.
History: Bennett has only had himself and his sister, Alice, to count on. His mother and father didn't much want to be bothered with children, but they were brought into this world as a consequence for lust and love. When he was born, his parents still loved each other, but the strains of a child quickly distinguished that love, leading Thea, his mother, to carry on an affair with a dyrad. Once again, the child that was brought into the world wasn't wanted, only accepted as a consequence. Simon, Bennett's father, left soon after Alice was born, refusing to take responsibility for either child. Though he didn't realize what was happening at the time, he soon realized later that Thea birthing Alice had torn apart his family that he loved. He didn't blame Alice though, because he realized that there had to have been strains that he was too young to see before. And so, for the first fifteen years of his life, he lived very much alone with only Alice to care for. But, when he was fifteen, he experienced his first lover, and has seldom slept alone since.
Fighting comes easily to him, as he grew up in and around it. Always, whenever Thea would bring home a new pet, abuse would be found in their home. Bennett found out very soon how to protect himself and Alice from new and old lovers of his mother's body. The men would come and they would go, leaving trails of tears from Thea, and Bennett and Alice hidden away somewhere from them, and during that time at home, he was forced to grow up very fast. He never had a childhood, he was always running away or scrounging to make sure they had enough food. Sometimes, the men would provide for them, but only with Thea's begging. Bennett resents his father for leaving, because at three years old, he was suddenly the man of the house.
Though he grew up fast, hard, and mean, he's found solace in women. Never will he bed a woman if, in any way, they remind him of his mother or Alice, but that still leaves a lot of options for him. He's had several partners, enough to gain ample knowledge about where to touch and when to play. His women have always been dark haired, full chested, and curvy, and he's found them anywhere from markets to brothels. Of course, he was always careful of his half-sister, which meant he had to sneak around sometimes.
When Alice was kidnaped, he nearly went out of his mind with worry. He knew previously that she'd had a relationship with a rather sinister looking man, and so he watched a little more, but nothing had suggested something like this would happen. It took three weeks to get his sister back, and when he saw her again, he was so angry he could have killed anyone who even looked at her wrong from then on. Her light hair was stringy and darker, colored with dirt, and even matted in some places with blood. There were streaks on her face and all over her body were bruises and scratches. She reeked of sex, and the worst was her eyes. Her beautiful chocolate eyes were blank. Completely vacant, like she'd given up on life but hadn't been able to die yet. It took weeks and all of Bennett's best efforts for Alice to come alive again. They both preferred not to speak of it, and Alice acts like it never happened at all.
