Name: Zelimir Navid
Age: 60
Race: Dryad/ Elf hybrid
Profession: Preventor- Leader of a group who is devoted to preventing conflict that could threaten or harm the world at large. He is blind to good or bad, in his eyes they're relative. All he cared about is preventing wars or battles between major powers. Negotiations always start peaceful but do have an interesting tendency to turn agressive.
Alignment: Neutral
Appearance: Zelimir is about average height standing at 5'10". He appears to be around thrity years old with an average sized build, but muscular. His hair is long, wavy, and dirty blonde, all kept in a ponytail that is held by an emerald sash. An emerald tunic fits comfortably around his torso with nothin beneath it, held by a few small brooches. Below the tunic is brown, leather belt with numerous small satchels hanging off of it. The brown leather belt is accompanied by brown leather breeches and black leather boots. Overall he has a simple appearance, not much by way of jewelry or piercings, but his actual person is much more interesting. First of all, due to his interesting crossed heritage, he has elven ears and typical of dryads, his eyes are a peculiar golden color, almost luminous in appearance. Furthermore his pupils are not circular, they are eliptical, and positioned rather like cat's pupils. Even more fantastic are the tattoos that cover his body. Starting on the front at the lower groin and at the back just above the arse, a willow tree creeps its way upwards. Above his ambilical scar, the tendrils of the willow are seen until the very crown of the tree ends just below his collar bone. Tendrils of the willow descend the entirety of both arms. Below the trunk, going down both of his legs stretch the roots of the willow, in the end painting a magnificent tree.
Personality: Zilimir or "Zil" is a direct man who speaks his mind regardless of the consequences. His mission is all he sees and all he knows. He is not part of the upper class, nor is he one of the pure families. Therefore he is unconcerned with socila regard and political correctness, as long as peace is maintained he is satisfied, well as long as what he defines as peaces is maintained.
Weapons/Magic: Zil is highly in tuned with nature, therefore it is his element. As far as weapons go he carries a halberd with a pole carved of poplar. The head is forged steel that has been polished and engraved heavily with runes. He also practices sorcery, although it is not a staple for him.
History: Zilimir did not have an extraordinairy childhood. He was born to a family of Borgiosse standards, completely normal, well save their relationship. They were nearly as inter-racial a couple as you could have, and their son was a very unique hybrid, half dryad, half elf. His heritage aside though, there was no severe travesty that altered his life, no immense privelege or wealth. Zilimir was merely born with a calling, one that charged him with protecting the precious equilibrium that maintained the natural order. This calling became manifested in a group of "Preventors", whose goal was to keep war, famine, and any other tribulation from occuring.
They were not always successful, but they had an excellent track record. They only had one major failure since their founding, and that was the invasion of the North. They had been caught in the Kuhn mountains a blizzard of epic proportions, and before they knew it the North of Arysia was conquered completely. It took a month of traveling and conflict for them to reach the capital, jut to find it to be too late. While they did not like deposition of in place rulers, it would only do more harm than good now to try and remove the conquerors from power, although it was inevitable that a Civil War would occur. However there was nothing they could do until the war began to brew, for now peace was established.
At least so they thought. It was not long before whispers began to spread of some great evil rising in the East, an evil long before any of the preventor's time, even Zilimir's. In his 60 years, Zilimir had dealt with many "evils" but this one seemed to cause more fear in people than any he had ever witnessed. the touble was though, he could not figure out what the evil was, therefore his troop could not do anything about it, which merely left him to sit on the sidelines idley until she became more known. On that note he disperesed all of his people abroad throughout Arysia to investigate, in the desperate hope that something would come of it.
