Name:
Reno Kenosha
Nick name- Ren
Age:
Nineteen
Race:
Shifter
Profession:
Herbalist/Drifter
Alignment:
On his own side (Chaotic neutral)
Appearance:
Standing at a full 5"7 he isn't really the tallest guy around, but he doesn't think he's all that short. Has somewhat long, loose silver hair that drapes over his eyes, but is usually parted so that he can see out of at least one. It isn't soft but has more of silk-like texture that easily runs threw your fingers. Like his hair he has a faded, white eye color that doesn't always show that much emotion. Not being much of a fashion carer he caries with him in a black bag holding two identical sets of cloths. The shirts are long-sleeved with a black and gray stripe pattern and his pants are a solid gray that match the gray stripes on his shirt; his single pair of leather boots are just white and gray, so he isn't the most colorful guy around. He's slender, not the fighting type, but he also looks frail, not much of a runner either, he's better at blending in around winter than anything else. The cold doesn't bother him as much from his thick blood but in summer it sometimes gets to hot to do anything.
He has his, general human form
And his Snow leopard form
Personality:
A couple things that are sort of obvious are his obsessions with herbs and burning corpses. If he's every just walking around and talking to someone or perhaps carry something very breakable and he spots a herb, whether it's rare or not, he'll drop everything and go to dig it up. With burning it's slightly different, as he roams around when he comes across a body or inactive battle field he lights every creature on fire and watches the flames lick at their flesh, fur, and/or feathers; It doesn't matter if they're still breathing as long as they're too wounded to move he'll do it. He doesn't really care that much about others, but if your in need of a remedy or want something to boost your energy he'll give you something as long as you ask and give something in return.
Spiders, huge Millipedes, and Crocodiles are a few of the things he absolutely can't stand to be around. He doesn't mind little baby centipedes all that much, but the long Millipedes are way to much. He may not be very fast, but he'll shift into his cat form and dash away rather quickly if you throw any of these at him, except the crocodile; If you throw one of those at him he'll applaud you for your bravery and strength and then run away. He isn't much of a talkative sort, but he loves listening to people and saying what he can back, for he can't really talk all the much. He may be smart, but he has limitation on the things he can say, sort of like a child. He can say simple words out loud, but it can get pretty messy when he tries to use phrases like 'It's raining cats and dogs' It may turn out as 'It's hailing cows and hogs' the same meaning is applied, but the words are never correct.
Weapons/Magic:
Claws/teeth- (weapon)
As a Snow leopard he has his natural teeth and claws to fight with even though he rarely fights.
Summon a small fire- (Magic)
He only knows one spell, though he doesn't know how to summon the fire without drawing the symbols. By drawling a circle on a surface then putting ember marks around it he can summon a flame that starts in the middle of the circle about a foot high and 4 inches long, that burns by itself for one minute before going out unless something caught on fire by it. It takes awhile to do, but he's usually got the time.
Black bag- (Item)
Carried with him as he wanders around is a black bag that hangs over one shoulder. It contains the herbs he gathers, a rock, a second change of cloths, a book and feather, charcoal, and whatever he trades for.
History(Can just skip to last paragraph):
Born in the Khun Mountains Reno never got out of the cave he was born into when he was little. He usually stayed inside with his mother Kade either snuggled up asleep in her lap or play fighting, his snow leopard form against her white tiger form. His Father, Lance always brought home something like a rabbit or other strange creature and he had an older brother, Axel, who was never home much except to come in and sleep. His world was small and held no disasters or dangers of any kind, it was his own happy little life and he never asked for much more than that. He was always content with his Father just telling him stories of the outside world.
When he got older at around sixteen Reno still hadn't left his safe-haven, though he did go into the back of the cave often and explore it's many tunnels, he never bothered to go out into the bright light of the outside world. One night his brother started to come back earlier, and brought him some things back. They were strange plants that smelled funny. Axel taught Reno how to blend the herbs together and gave him a book and feather to keep things down in. Another thing his brother hadn't really taught him, but had written in the book, was how to use symbols to make a small fire in order to burn the feather tip in order to write with it whenever. Learning this kept Reno busy for a few weeks but when he finally got it right he was ecstatic and was captivated by the fire. He then asked his brother if there was a simpler way to summon the flames and spent a couple months getting that technique learned.
It wasn't until he was nineteen that Reno was actually introduced into the outside world, yet, it was against his will.
One night while everyone was already fast asleep Reno thought that he heard a noise coming from the depths of the many cave passages. He didn't want to wake anyone else up, so he snook silently into the cave with his bag out of habit of taking it everywhere with him. He went deep into the cave, further than he'd ever gone for who knows how long. It was very dark and quiet, he didn't even notice a steep drop until he was already falling down into it. He tumbled over and over in a time frame that felt like an eternity before he finally hit the bottom and passed out.
Reno lost most of his memory from the harsh tumble, he had never been hurt before and the shock was to much for him to handle. He woke up knowing he was Reno and that was about it. Feeling pain in the back of his head and knee he inspected them to find them bleeding, he didn't remember how to react to such things and passed them off as something that just happened. He got up and started walking around the cave again, it started going upward now. He soon found himself locating an opening and going out into a shimmering sky of bright light. He wanders around in what he knows just as 'the light and dark' now, looking after only himself. He doesn't understand his obsessions, or love of following his herb book recipes, but does them anyway since he enjoys them, over time he remembers how to speak different words, even though he can comprehend anything. Now he just wanders around, doing what he wants when he desires and catching his food when hungry. He doesn't know how to react to allot of different things, but he sometimes asks how people want him to react, so sarcasm isn't the best thing to use when talking to him or he'll take you seriously.
